Review and approval of Contractors and sub-Contractors instrumentation inspection and test plans for conformance to specifications, codes and standards and identification of inspection intervention requirements.
Verify quality control documentation in the form of inspection and test plans, method statements and work instructions and ensuring inspection records / test certificates are available prior to work commencing.
Undertake "actual", "witness" and "surveillance" inspection activities for all automation (instrument) and when necessary, electrical installations at site as required by inspection and test plans. Verify product conformity and full compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, codes and standards and project contract documents.
Monitoring of automation (instrument) installation works and testing to verify adequacy of construction and inspection methodologies in producing product conforming to engineering drawings, specifications, codes and standards and project contract documents.
Review and acceptance, via signature, of process and inspection verification documents in the form of inspection and test plans, inspection records, checklists and test certificates.
Monitor ongoing work status to determine potential interface or schedule problems to aid application of preventive measures to negate potential negative affect.
Ensure Company regulations, with regard to work safety and environment preservation, are maintained.
Requirements:
Bachelors Engineering in Instrument/ Automation discipline or equivalent
Relevant experience large size Instrumentation works with large international onshore petrochemical, oil and gas projects
Instrumentation & Controls Engineer > 8 Years
Sr. Instrumentation & Controls Engineer > 15 Years
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Familiarity with PLC and DCS systems in the petrochemical, chemical, or manufacturing sectors; experience in LDPE facilities is preferred.
