This is a remote position.

Offering a flexible commitment of 20 to 30 hours per month, this remote contract position delivers a strategic opportunity to drive online visibility and booking performance for an established hospitality business. The role focuses on transforming the digital presence of a guest house and its individual accommodation studios, shifting from a traditional sales perspective to a targeted, solution-driven marketing approach.

The successful candidate will take operational ownership of elevating the brand's profile, manipulating platform algorithms, and expanding reach across social channels. Operating independently within agreed parameters, this position ensures that digital assets and online reputations are professionally managed to maximise listing performance and customer conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise and manage Online Travel Agency (OTA) profiles including Booking.com, Airbnb, and Expedia to maximise separate property bookings.

  • Maintain and update Google and TripAdvisor listings alongside the Free to Book channel manager to ensure accurate information and seamless booking consolidation.

  • Develop and execute a targeted social media and marketing plan, leveraging platforms such as TikTok to increase organic reach and audience engagement.

  • Utilise advanced AI tools, specifically Claude, to streamline marketing workflows, refine digital presence, and polish documentation.

  • Monitor, protect, and leverage the business's established reputation of over 300 five-star reviews across platforms to validate the guest experience.

  • Establish measurable, data-driven marketing plans and deliver regular performance metrics to track platform effectiveness.


Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Established marketing and social media experience within the hospitality industry.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), specifically Booking.com, Airbnb, and Expedia.

  • High proficiency and comfort working with AI tools, specifically Claude, to enhance digital output.

  • Solid understanding of social media audience targeting and algorithm manipulation.

  • Proven ability to work independently, establish structured execution parameters, and deliver data-driven results.
