MOVEM: ACCOUNT MANAGER
Reports to: Sales and Marketing Lead
I. JOB SUMMARY
The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships post-sale, ensuring successful delivery of services, and driving customer satisfaction and retention. The role oversees account performance, coordinates with internal teams for service delivery, and identifies opportunities for account growth and expansion. This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients after deal closure, ensuring long-term partnerships and value realization.
II. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Account Management & Client Relationship
a. Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients after deal closure.
b. Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
c. Ensures high level of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.
d. Manages client expectations and ensures alignment on deliverables and service scope.
2. Post-Sales Coordination & Service Delivery
a. Coordinates with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of projects and services.
b. Monitors project progress and ensure delivery commitments are met in terms of timeline, quality, and scope.
c. Addresses client concerns, issues, or escalations in a timely and professional manner.
d. Ensures seamless transition from sales to project execution and operations.
3. Account Performance & Retention
a. Monitors account performance against agreed KPIs, service levels, and contractual obligations.
b. Tracks client usage, satisfaction, and overall health of accounts
c. Identifies risks to account retention and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
d. Ensures renewal of contracts and continuation of services where applicable
4. Account Growth & Upselling
a. Identifies opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling additional services.
b. Works with clients to understand evolving needs and propose relevant solutions.
c. Supports preparation of proposals for account expansion in coordination with Sales and technical teams.
d. Contributes to revenue growth through effective management of existing accounts.
5. Client Reporting & Communication
a. Provides regular updates and reports to clients on project status, performance metrics, and key deliverables.
b. Prepares account reviews and business updates for internal and external stakeholders.
c. Ensures clarity, transparency, and consistency in all client communications.
d. Maintains proper documentation of client interactions and agreements.
6. Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
a. Acts as the escalation point for client issues and ensure timely resolution.
b. Coordinates root cause analysis and corrective actions with internal teams.
c. Gathers client feedback and recommend improvements to products, services, or processes.
d. Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS (i.e. Education, Licenses, Certificates, Skills, Relevant experiences)
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in account management, client servicing, or after-sales
support
• Strong communication, relationship management, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, EV, or related industries is an advantage
