The Cement Additives Manager is responsible for leading the development, promotion, and sales of cement additives, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs. Key Responsibilities

Business & Strategy

  • Develop and implement the business strategy for cement additives in alignment with company goals.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Set pricing strategies, profitability targets, and growth objectives.

Commercial & Customer Management

  • Manage relationships with key cement manufacturers, distributors, and construction stakeholders.
  • Lead technical sales activities, product presentations, and customer trials.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Technical & Product Development

  • Collaborate with R&D to develop new cement additive formulations (grinding aids, performance enhancers, strength improvers, etc.).
  • Oversee product testing, validation, and scale-up in customer plants.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.

Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work with supply chain, production, and quality teams to ensure product availability and consistent performance.
  • Train and support the sales team with technical knowledge of cement chemistry and additives.
  • Prepare regular reports on performance, forecasts, and market trends.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cement industry.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and additive chemistry.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial personality, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build solid customer relationships.
