We are seeking an experienced Virtual Medical Receptionist / Scheduler to support a busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patient communication, appointment scheduling, and healthcare administrative support while providing an exceptional patient experience.

  • Document patient communications and scheduling notes within the EMR.
  • Support patient follow-up and care coordination activities.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism during all patient interactions.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Required).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Scheduler, or Medical Administrative Assistant.
  • Experience handling high-volume patient calls.
  • Strong appointment scheduling and calendar management experience.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic and/or Acumen EMR.
  • Patient registration and intake experience.
  • Insurance verification experience.
  • Experience in Nephrology, Dialysis, Specialty Practices, or Multi-Provider Scheduling environments.

Benefits

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 - $7 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM US Time.
