We are looking for an experienced Project HRGA Officer to support our construction project operations in Indonesia.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing project-based human resources activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, attendance, payroll coordination, BPJS, employment contracts, employee relations, and compliance with Indonesian labor regulations.
This position requires prior experience working in construction, engineering, EPC, infrastructure, building, or project-site environments.
Key Responsibilities
Handle recruitment and onboarding for project-based employees and local staff.
Manage employee administration, including employee records, contracts, personal data, attendance, leave, overtime, and related HR documents.
Coordinate payroll data, attendance records, overtime calculation, BPJS, and other employee benefit matters with the finance or payroll team.
Prepare, monitor, and manage employment contracts, including PKWT, PKWTT, contract extensions, and contract expiration records.
Support employee relations, disciplinary matters, warning letters, resignations, terminations, and other industrial relations matters.
Ensure HR practices comply with Indonesian manpower laws, company policies, and project requirements.
Coordinate with project management, department heads, site teams, and head office regarding HR matters.
Support manpower planning and workforce mobilization according to project needs.
Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, attendance reports, and other project HR documentation.
Support general HRGA matters on project site when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with mandatory experience in construction, engineering, EPC, infrastructure, building, or project-site environments.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations, employment contracts, BPJS, payroll coordination, attendance, overtime, and industrial relations.
Experienced in handling project-based employees, site staff, contract workers, subcontractor manpower, or operational teams.
Familiar with PKWT, PKWTT, BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, employee administration, and HR compliance.
Able to work closely with project managers, site teams, finance, and head office.
Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
Good English communication skills are preferred.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
Willing to work at project site when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with a large construction company, main contractor, EPC contractor, infrastructure project, high-rise building project, or Chinese/international company.
Experience handling site manpower, local recruitment, worker attendance, overtime, BPJS, disciplinary cases, and employee relations in a construction project.
Good understanding of project-site working culture and able to adapt to a fast-paced construction environment.
Legal or industrial relations background is a strong advantage.
