Content Editor

Job Summary: The Content Editor will work under the Brand Lead to edit, refine, and optimize content that reflects the company’s brand identity. This role focuses on maintaining consistency, quality, and clarity across all content channels while supporting brand and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread content in alignment with brand guidelines provided by the Brand Lead

• Ensure consistent tone, voice, and messaging across all platforms

• Collaborate with the Brand Lead to execute the brand strategy through content

• Provide feedback to writers to improve content quality Optimize content for SEO and audience engagement

• Fact-check and ensure accuracy of published materials

• Manage content revisions and meet publishing deadlines
  

Requirements:

• Able to create and edit cut-to-cut videos for digital content.

• Proficient in basic video editing techniques (cutting, trimming, simple transitions, subtitles, and basic motion graphics).

• Familiar with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.

• Experienced in using AI-powered video editing tools (e.g., AI auto-captioning, background removal, voice enhancement, auto-reframing, text-to-video, or similar AI features) to improve editing efficiency and content quality.

• Understands basic visual storytelling, video pacing, and audience retention for short-form content.

• Able to edit videos according to brand guidelines and direction from the Brand Lead.

• Basic understanding of content optimization for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail in reviewing visuals, subtitles, audio, and overall content quality.

• Able to manage multiple editing projects and meet tight deadlines.
