Responsibilities:
Responsible to contribute to product cost savings through identifying opportunities for cost savings & build value engineering project pipeline
Develop methodologies, templates and approach for target costs based on product analysis data
Analyze and evaluate design for materials, manufacturing process & supply chain for value analysis / value engineering opportunities
Execute & drive VAVE projects starting from Idea generation to implementation
Co-ordinate with Global & local stake holders including suppliers for project execution including samples, prototypes and testing requirements
Build active VAVE project funnel and build active VAVE project funnel and to drive multiple VAVE projects in a timely manner to support business goal target
Establish and update processes for execution on teardown, benchmarking and VAVE requests
Requirements:
Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of studies
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the EMS or an MNC environment
Strong analysis skills, knowledge in material pricing and strategy
Strong knowledge in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electronics commodities
