Core Responsibilities:
To manage Packaging business that focus on achieving the yearly P&L budget and at the same time to develop the country 5 years business plan to maximize Sherwin-Williams position in Indonesia market and achieve corporate sales and profit targets aligned with Packaging Asia vision and target.
The National Sales Manager Indonesia has the unique challenges of both collaborating with the current customers in addition to gain insight knowledge of the packaging business and developing new market/customer to capture continuous sales growth in Indonesia.
Sherwin-Williams markets a broad range of packaging products. Sherwin-Williams will continue the development of the other packaging product in the Food/Beverage segments.
The role of the National Sales Manager is to establish working relationships with customer senior management to build mutual business partnership. This position will be critical to the success of the future growth of Sherwin-Williams, shaping not only the brand growth and profitability of Sherwin-Williams in Indonesia but influencing the amount of investment made by Sherwin-Williams across the region.
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a range of functions in the country organization in Indonesia including technical support, sales, AR collection, customer service and inventory management; the position will also become the key contact for the supporting functions within Sherwin-Williams Packaging Organization in Asia.
The challenges of doing business in Indonesia and the cultural differences across the packaging markets covered by the incumbent add a further dimension to the role.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
FORMAL EDUCATION: Bachelor degree
Chemical Engineering
Food Technology & Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical / industrial / packaging / coating markets
Experience within metal coatings product related industries (3 years)
Background in technical support / service (5 years)
A detailed understanding of the technical aspects of Sherwin-Williams’s packaging products
In depth knowledge of lines auditing and product application
