MANUFACTURING ENGINEER MANAGER

About the role

A new establish a PMA company engaged in the manufacturing of medical devices is seeking an experienced Manufacture Engineering Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing engineering operations at our Cikarang Selatan facility in Jawa Barat.

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering teams, implementing best practices, and driving efficiency whilst maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. This role is critical to our strategic objectives and will have significant influence on the company's manufacturing performance and competitive position.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead all department staff to achieve established departmental objectives.
2. Take charge of resource allocation control and budget management for the company’s ongoing projects.
3. Oversee the planning, documentation preparation and progress of all company-wide projects, and provide professional and reasonable work guidance.
4. Take the lead in driving iteration, optimization and improvement of existing products.
5. Organize product design handover review meetings as the principal person in charge.
6. Manage training, learning and career development arrangements for department employees.
7. Guide all staff to clearly recognize the relevance and importance of their own roles, and clarify how their individual work contributes to the achievement of quality objectives.
8. Ensure employees are aware of adverse consequences and product defects that may result from non-standard operations.
9. Ensure all verification personnel fully understand various potential defects and operational error risks in their work.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Majors related to science and engineering;
2. Over three years of project management experience in the same industry;
3. Experience in factory start-up, production transfer, new line setup, or production ramp-up,
4. Systematically master project management procedures
5. Familiar with quality management systems, manufacturing processes, process control, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement as well as relevant ISO (ISO 13485), and EN standards, GMP, CPAKB,
6. Mastering in cleanroom operation, contamination control, and controlled production environment
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, detail-oriented, organized, outstanding systematic thinking capability;
8. Excellent communication and coordination skills,
9. Skilled in office automation software;
10. Excellent English listening, speaking, writing and translation capabilities,
11. Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
