Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the preparation and processing of bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls. Verify timekeeping data, calculate wages, and process deductions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate payroll staff. Manage daily workflows and resolve escalated payroll issues.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure strict adherence to local tax and labor regulations. Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with internal or external audits.
- HR Data Management: Coordinate with the broader HR team to update employee records regarding new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Employee Support: Act as the primary point of contact for complex payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies in paychecks or benefits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing and HR experience, including supervisory or team lead roles.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Workday, ADP) and MS Excel. Strong understanding of tax laws and statutory contributions (like SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG in the Philippines).
