Regional Accountant (Hybrid)

This Accountant role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a structured, collaborative shared services environment, solving complex accounting and reconciliation challenges, and supporting regional finance operations across multiple entities. The right

The Role: Accountant

In this role, you will spend most of your time managing end-to-end accounting processes, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, processing intercompany transactions, and supporting period-end close activities. You will work closely with local and regional finance teams, vendors, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely payment processing, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. This role balances day-to-day operational accounting with opportunities to improve systems, automate processes, and contribute to high-quality finance service delivery.

What You'll Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in general accounting or a shared services environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with a good command of English.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions, PivotTables, and macros.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively across different time zones and multicultural teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• CPA license (preferred but not required).
• Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, data analytics, or data visualization tools.
• Experience supporting Australian, Philippine, or Canadian accounting operations.
