About the role
PT Jaya Obayashi is seeking an experienced MEP Commissioning Engineer to join our team in our Data Center project at Karawang, West Java. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all stages of engineering project testing are completed. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, reliable infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures to verify the proper installation and operation of all material & equipment from owner or principal.
Conduct system inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies
Collaborate with project teams, including planning engineers, technical site team, and sub-contractors, to coordinate and execute commissioning activities.
Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning records, test reports, and documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to ensure the successful handover of commissioned systems
Contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes and best practices
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
Proficient in the use of commissioning tools, testing equipment, and related software
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues MEP
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and quality project delivery
Familiarity with relevant electrical and MEP standards, codes, and regulations
