Business Development - Eklipse

Eklipse is entering a new market: selling creator marketing services directly to game studios. We have the product, the creator network, and early validation. What we need now is the person who builds the B2B motion from zero, the strategy, the pipeline, the pitch, the close, and eventually the team.

This is a founding BD role for our studio vertical. You'll report directly to the CEO, work without a playbook, and own everything from first outreach to signing contracts. As the motion matures and scales, you'll hire and lead the team underneath you.

Build the studio GTM motion

  • Define the ICP, outreach strategy, pitch narrative, and pricing logic for the studio segment

  • Develop the sales process from scratch — targeting criteria, sequencing, proposal templates, negotiation approach

  • Establish how Eklipse shows up in B2B conversations: positioning, materials, and first impressions

Close and validate PMF

  • Pitch Eklipse's managed KOL service as a full-stack offer: creator scouting, campaign briefing, bounty program, clip distribution, and performance reporting

  • Structure first contracts to validate PMF — distribute 100% of studio budget to creators, prove results, monetize on renewal

  • Bring back what you learn: surface studio feedback that informs product direction, pricing, and service design

Own the external materials

  • Build and maintain all studio-facing materials: pitch decks, proposals, one-pagers, case study templates

  • Work with product and design to develop the studio-facing reporting dashboard — campaign brief input, creator pool visibility, clip output, spend vs. views ROI

  • Make sure every touchpoint reflects Eklipse's positioning accurately and professionally

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in B2B Business Development, Partnerships, or Sales — with a verifiable track record of sourcing and closing deals independently

  • Experience building a sales motion, not just executing one — you've defined the approach before, not just followed a script

  • Professional English, written and spoken — all external communication with studios is in English

  • Strong outreach instincts: you write your own cold messages, manage your own follow-up, and don't wait to be handed warm leads

  • Sharp on commercial logic — you can structure a deal, explain a pricing model, and know when to walk away

Nice to have

  • Background in gaming, creator economy, SaaS, or influencer marketing

  • Existing relationships at game studios, publishers, or esports organizations

  • Familiarity with how studio marketing teams plan and commit creator/influencer budgets

  • Experience with performance-based models: bounty programs, CPI, revenue share

  • GDC, Gamescom, or similar industry event experience
