Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and well-presented Host to be the welcoming face of our restaurant in Uluwatu, Bali. As a Host, you will greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and ensure a smooth and welcoming flow of guests into the restaurant. Your role is essential in creating a positive first impression and a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome upon arrival.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins efficiently, using the restaurant’s booking system.
Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure an even flow of service.
Communicate wait times to guests accurately and keep them informed.
Show the guests their tables and provide menus.
Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing general information about the restaurant.
Support the service team by communicating guest requests and special occasions (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries).
Help maintain cleanliness and order in the entrance and reception area.
Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally, escalating issues to management as needed.
Be a brand ambassador for the restaurant, upholding excellent customer service and a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a Host, in front-of-house, or in customer service (preferred).
Fluent English speaking skills required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, welcoming, professional and demeanor.
Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
Familiarity with reservation systems (preferred, but training can be provided).
Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and flexibility.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
