Operations Manager – Trauma & Clinical Services

Role Overview
Lead and manage the operations of a specialised medical centre, driving clinical excellence, strategic transformation, and community impact across trauma services.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Patient Services

• Plan and coordinate day-to-day centre operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient resource allocation

• Drive end-to-end optimisation of the patient journey with a focus on timeliness, outcomes, and experience

• Lead operational readiness and scaling of centre programmes, including regional network coordination and survivorship initiatives

Strategy & Planning

• Support development and execution of centre strategy aligned to national healthcare priorities

• Lead key strategic planning efforts and translate strategy into operational plans, KPIs, and measurable outcomes

• Provide secretariat support and thought partnership for senior-level committees and workgroups

Quality, Compliance & Governance

• Champion quality improvement and clinical best practices across all services

• Manage regulatory compliance and support accreditation processes

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and governance standards

Data & Innovation

• Develop and manage data dashboards and analytics frameworks to track outcomes and system performance

• Translate clinical and operational data into actionable insights for decision-making

• Identify and implement innovative models of care and digital tools to improve efficiency and patient flow

Stakeholder Engagement & Community Outreach

• Collaborate with medical, nursing, allied health, and administrative teams on best practices

• Engage government agencies, community partners, and internal stakeholders to enhance service capabilities

• Lead community outreach and public education initiatives on injury prevention and trauma awareness

• Support national platforms and partnerships with external agencies, schools, and ministries

Financial & Resource Management

• Support business planning, budgeting, and resource optimisation

• Contribute to new service model development and funding proposals

Requirements:

• Master of Public Health (MPH), Bachelor of Health Sciences or equivalent

• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience
