Assistant Nursery
We are seeking a lead teacher who is an expert in early childhood development and the Montessori philosophy to create a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
Montessori teaching certification is required
Proven experience as a lead teacher in a preschool or kindergarten setting.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
A deep passion for and a strong understanding of child development, especially for children in early age and learning theories.
Exceptional classroom management skills.
Demonstrated ability to create a stimulating, engaging, and welcoming learning environment.
Familiarity with and a commitment to integrating sustainability concepts into the curriculum.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and delivering age-appropriate Montessori and sustainability-based activities for early-age children.
Support classroom activities such as songs, storytelling, sensory play, art, outdoor play, and structured learning to encourage children’s development.
Observe and document children’s daily progress, behavior, and learning milestones under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
Help create a safe, nurturing, clean, and well-organized classroom environment.
Support children’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through positive interaction and gentle guidance.
Assist with daily routines, including feeding, hygiene, rest time, transitions, and classroom preparation.
Communicate basic updates to parents when needed and support the Lead Teacher in parent communication.
