We are representing a leading multinational infrastructure investment and operations company in Southeast Asia that is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead the operational performance of its infrastructure portfolio in Indonesia.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring asset reliability, maintaining regulatory compliance, and improving profitability across multiple infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Portfolio Operations Leadership
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
Lead and oversee operational performance across multiple infrastructure assets and business units.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
Translate corporate strategy into executable operational plans with measurable business outcomes.
Asset & Service Operations Management
Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of infrastructure assets.
Optimize asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and operational reliability.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and project teams to maximize asset availability.
Financial & Performance Management
Manage operational budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and financial performance.
Drive operational profitability while maintaining high service standards.
Establish and monitor performance metrics across all operating assets.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and value creation.
Compliance, Risk & Governance
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, concession agreements, and corporate governance standards.
Lead operational risk management and business continuity initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with government authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders.
Promote a strong Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and compliance culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Master's Degree (MBA or Engineering Management) is highly preferred.
Experience
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in infrastructure operations, toll road operations, asset management, or other large-scale operational environments.
Demonstrated experience leading operations within regulated or concession-based industries.
Proven track record managing multi-site operations and outsourced service providers.
Experience leading large cross-functional operational teams.
